They also feel better in the process. \nThe goal of this presentation is to share information regarding the medical benefit of integrating exercise into one’s cancer recovery and to provide resources participants can use to further explore this topic. In the days and weeks after diagnosis there is a lot to manage\, and fear is a normal response to this new situation. Anxiety and fear can emerge at different times throughout the cancer experience\, and often when treatment ends the anxiety of losing medical support or the fear of cancer coming back can lead to a heightened stress level. \nIn this 1.5 hour presentation we will give you skills to help manage your fear and anxiety. We will teach basic mindfulness as well as other helpful tools. We will also invite the larger group’s questions\, comments and sharing so we can understand that we are not alone and learn from each other.
