Speaker: George Horng, MD
Doctor Horng is board-certified in critical care medicine, internal medicine, and pulmonary disease. He specializes in the evaluation and diagnosis of pulmonary nodules and masses.
As an educator, Dr. Horng was honored with the
Teacher of the Year Award for CPMC’s Internal Medicine Residency Program along with an American Thoracic Society Fellows Career Development Award.
Description:
Join us for information about the prevention and symptoms of lung cancer in addition to risks like smoking, exposure to pollutants or chemicals and how family history may play a role. Attendees will learn methods of determining diagnosis and will gain an understanding of new and existing therapies such as surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy.
Lung cancer screening (low-dose CT scan) information will also be provided.
