For people at any point in their cancer journey: Newly diagnosed, in treatment, or post-treatment
A cancer diagnosis may bring great anxiety. In the days and weeks after diagnosis there is a lot to manage, and fear is a normal response to this new situation. Anxiety and fear can emerge at different times throughout the cancer experience, and often when treatment ends the anxiety of losing medical support or the fear of cancer coming back can lead to a heightened stress level.
In this 1.5 hour presentation we will give you skills to help manage your fear and anxiety. We will teach basic mindfulness as well as other helpful tools. We will also invite the larger group’s questions, comments and sharing so we can understand that we are not alone and learn from each other.
