For cancer patients, family & friends: Change the way you handle stress, anxiety, fear and even pain
In mindfulness meditation, we bring our attention to the present moment without trying to change our experience. Grounded in the body, mindfulness meditation has proven to be a powerful tool for enhancing health and well-being, as well as reducing stress and cultivating insight and clarity. Some people even find better ways to manage pain. All different kinds of people have been shown to benefit from mindfulness meditation, and many have found paths to greater happiness.
INSTRUCTOR

Formerly Clinical Director and co-founder of the San Francisco Cancer Support Community, Ange now works with Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation’s Cancer Support Services in Santa Rosa as a support group facilitator, class instructor, and as a consultant to the oncology staff and the WINGS peer support program. Ange is also a long term cancer survivor.
