The increased stress and disruption of the past year have resulted in unhealthy habits for many. You may find yourself eating more, exercising less, and turning to food for distraction, to ease stress, or simply have some pleasure in the day. All of which may have contributed to weight gain. Recognizing that life isn’t going to return to normal quickly, it is time to establish healthy habits with this new normal.
Join us for a remote four-week interactive class to explore the physical and emotional factors of body weight. We will take advantage of gathering from our homes to discuss and experiment with how you are eating right now: looking at what is in your pantry, sharing a meal together to explore portion sizes, eating pace and how to increase your enjoyment of eating. Participants will learn practical, research-based techniques for improving nutritional health along with a sustainable, individualized weight management plan. Our holistic approach includes the full scope of a healthy lifestyle: stress, sleep, mindset, exercise, and food. Each session will include a specific topic, group discussion, and engaging activities to practice at home.
Enrollment in all four classes is required, totaling $240. Free for HMO Brown & Toland members.
